EXPERIENCE Nido de Vida

IMG-20200106-WA0005 (1).jpg

Nido de Vida connects people and ideas through workshops and community gatherings in Union La Bolivarense and the region. We create opportunities for the exchange of experiences and ideas. Now, during the pandemic, this also means finding ways to engage virtually.

We are developing a system of partnerships and collaborations, locally and globally, to be a part of a network of community and environmetanlly minded individuals, community groups, and organizations. Together, we can do and achieve more!

In the spirit of bringing people together to share and exchange ideas, we invite you to join our network by experiencing Nido de Vida and La Bolivarense. We want visitors to learn from, be inspired by, and contribute to our work and approach. Experiences include:

Hands-on experience in a sub-tropical, rural area of Ecuador.

Exploration of culture, life experiences, and local issues through a familial and communal lens.

Project-based experiences focused on local priorities.

Connecting with people and nature.

INTERNSHIPS

These are project based with pre-determined deliverables driven by local priorities. Internships are typically 4-8 weeks in length and are a fantastic opportunity to apply academic learning to real world challenges and solutions, to be immersed in a community, as well as to improve language skills. Check out our past projects.

RETREATS and TRAININGS

We offer indoor and outdoor learning spaces along with 15 acres of forest for your creative use. We are well-versed in designing and implementing informal education activities and trainings, and are excited to support you in bringing your vision to life. Nido de Vida is perfect if you want a place where you can unplug, and be surrounded by nature with comfortable amenities, while exploring the themes of your retreat or training.
